M.a.R.V.In. – Smart remote monitoring and inspections
Save up to 45% of building maintenance experts’ time
Protect your properties, save experts’ time, and keep building operations under continuous control.
As part of the M2C SPACE platform, M.a.R.V.In. (Measurement & Regulation + Visual Inspection) interconnects all building technologies – from security features to maintenance and energy management. Thanks to advanced automation, IoT sensors, and specialized camera systems, we turn reactive repairs into efficient predictive maintenance.
Key Benefits of the M.a.R.V.In. System
-
Up to 45% time savings for technicians: Expensive experts do not waste time on routine physical rounds. They go out for inspections or interventions purposefully only when actually needed.
-
Interconnection of all systems: We connect boiler rooms, flood or other IoT sensors, control systems (BMS/M&R), and autonomous robots.
-
Remote interventions and restarts: Upon detecting an issue (e.g., a water leak), M.a.R.V.In. or an operator can immediately close a valve or remotely restart a device without requiring an immediate on-site visit.
-
Independence from the maintenance provider: M.a.R.V.In. can be easily integrated with our mobile maintenance team as well as with your existing provider.
-
Advanced diagnostics: The use of specialized M.a.R.V.In. cameras and thermal cameras detects temperature anomalies and hidden faults before they cause a breakdown.
How Does M.a.R.V.In. Work in Practice?
-
Continuous Monitoring: IoT sensors and cameras continuously collect operational data and monitor the condition of the facility.
-
Evaluation and Prediction: The control system evaluates deviations from the norm and prevents technology failures (preventive and predictive maintenance).
-
Immediate Reaction: In the event of an incident, the monitoring center intervenes remotely or dispatches a mobile technician directly to resolve the specific issue.
Key Features
Alert monitoring
Installed technologies continuously monitor the entire facility and record the necessary data for later use. In the event of a problem, the system automatically evaluates the fault, and the operator immediately verifies the security alert to propose quick solutions. Virtually anything can be connected as part of remote management, including BMS providers such as Sauter, Scada, Merbon, or Loxone.
Remote management
Thanks to comprehensive integration, the building is under continuous remote supervision. The system allows remote management of most components, such as water and gas shut-off valves, temperature control, or meter restarts. On-site physical intervention is thus necessary only in exceptional cases.
Reporting
All operational management, except for extensive inspections, takes place entirely remotely. This results in significant time savings when checking all necessary components. The final status is subsequently logged into a clear report featuring a digital seal that precisely specifies the time and date of the inspection.
CCTV cameras
Camera systems serve as the technician's eyes during remote management and enable continuous monitoring of technical rooms. They allow for ongoing inspections as well as subsequent reporting of the overall condition. Furthermore, specialized devices such as thermal cameras ensure proper operation and automatically help prevent breakdowns or accidents.
IoT sensors
The entire building system is remotely monitored via IoT sensors. Thanks to them, we are able to fully manage and inspect the facility without the need for physical intervention. This suite of sensors continuously monitors the entire building and records all measured data.
Technical dispatch center
In the event of a technical fault, the technical dispatch center adequately evaluates the situation in cooperation with remote supervision and control. The operator can remotely view camera feeds, inspect the issue, and propose a suitable solution or dispatch a specialist technician. Moreover, thanks to the BMS connection, they can remotely control certain parts of the building and, for example, shut off a given circuit during a water leak.
Who is this solution for?
-
Smaller facilities: Where maintaining a permanent on-site technician is not cost-effective.
-
Remote locations: Where physical inspection rounds are time-consuming and expensive.
-
Logistics complexes and industrial parks: Where it brings significant labor savings across large areas.
-
Data centers and substations: Where maximum reliability and immediate response to thermal or technical fluctuations are key.
